Microsoft has been saying some nice things about MEDSEEK recently and has honored MEDSEEK as a Microsoft 2011 U.S. Public Sector Partner of the Year.
“MEDSEEK has shown incredible dedication to serving the public sector and the company’s recognition as a Partner of the Year is well deserved.”
-- Michael Robinson, general manager of U.S. Health and Life Sciences Industry at Microsoft.
We believe that this honor, awarded just 16 months after MEDSEEK first engaged with Microsoft, demonstrates the faith they have in us and speaks volumes about Microsoft’s belief in MEDSEEK's strategic direction and our desire to redefine the online eHealth experience.
But MEDSEEK is not alone in redefining the online patient experience. We are inspired by the millions of patients that reach out daily into the online world to search and shop for healthcare services.
Patients are increasingly aware of their role as healthcare consumers and they experience, and expect, the kind of advanced functionality they are offered when booking travel online or logging in to Amazon to buy digital books and music. They expect the same level of advanced online functionality delivered by their healthcare provider to their computers at home and the Smartphones in their hands. But when they are greeted with a patient portal that is little more than an online billboard for hospital services, they will shop around for the best available experience.
As Meaningful Use progresses and we move towards accountable care, healthcare organizations are competing to attract, activate and retain patients who are willing to be partners in their own health. But partnerships require dedication from both sides and at MEDSEEK we understand that.
We like what our partners at Microsoft have to say about the patient experience solutions MEDSEEK offers hospitals.
Are you going to like what your patient partners say about the online experience you are offering them?
-- Tony Cartlidge, Corporate Communications Manager, MEDSEEK
